The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has officially announced a major recruitment drive to replace 10,242 teachers who exited service through natural attrition. This initiative is aimed at boosting staffing levels in public primary, junior, and secondary schools across the country.

 

According to the TSC notice, the replacement will cover multiple levels of learning institutions. Specific slots have been allocated for primary schools, junior schools, and senior secondary institutions, although the exact breakdown is partially obscured in the notice. The new recruits will be employed under Permanent and Pensionable terms of service, offering job security and long-term career growth within the teaching profession.

Be Kenyan citizens.

Possess a P1 certificate for those applying to teach in primary schools.

Hold a Diploma in Education for applicants targeting junior and secondary school positions.

Be duly registered with the Teachers Service Commission.
